Your October Update 2016

Hello Lovelies, I thought I would make this a small feature on my blog by giving you an update each month. I feel like this is a way I can let you guys know what I am up to and enjoying!

With these dark and colder mornings there is nothing like candles. Currently I am loving candles in the morning, they make my room feel festive and offer that sense of warmth and love. Even though it is only Autumn my candle is actually called Snow White, so you’ll have to forgive me for the Christmas candle. Anyways… I am also currently  in love with my reading again! These colder nights cal for nothing more than a cup of tea, a blanket and a good read. I am reading at the moment the Watersong series by Amanda Hocking which I am falling in love with. I am also re reading the Girl Online Books by Zoe Sugg aka Zoella, which are becoming two of my all time favourite reads. (Hint Hint I can’t wait until I can read the third instalment of Penny’s adventure) Speaking of Zoe.. that brings me onto another thing that I love all year round but especially these coming months is watching Youtube. I love coming home for a day at school and sitting down and watching a Vlog or main channel video. The Autumn videos are some of my favourites because I enjoy seeing what people are up to but also their style, makeup and hair for the season.

I am also really enjoying watching TV when I can with The Great British Bake off and Strictly Come Dancing on nothing gets better than sitting down on a Wednesday and Saturday evening with a few snacks and hot drinks and watching these programmes. I find when these sort of programmes appear on TV you know its the start of the Autumn season. Again for me its also got to be the classic films like Twilight or Harry Potter or even Grown Ups if you want a little more of a laugh (yes these are my go to films!) but honestly right now having a film on in the evening is the best feeling ever.

As far as what  I am up to, I am really busy with school work, ALevels is definitely a huge step up from GCSE’S. I am currently also busy writing post for you guys which I am hoping you are going to love, as we are coming into the Christmas seasons and I have a lot planned for the next two months of this year. If you haven’t guessed already I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I’m still currently in the process of thinking about room ideas as I am hoping soon that my room will be getting a makeover.

As far as school is going, well it’s going okay! Sometimes I come home and think to myself today wasn’t the best for all sorts of reasons but other days I come home and think I’m loving it there. I am absoultely starting to settle into the school now, I’m making tones of new friends and starting to understand the school itself.

Let me know what you are loving this October and what you are up too.

Autumn Has Arrived

I absolutely love Autumn and everything that comes with it! Even though I hate the cold and I’m always the one to get cold first, I love the dark mornings and the colder evenings. Even though summer is an amazing time of the year when I get to spend time outside in the sun with my Friends, I feel that Autumn is a time to spend cwtched up indoors with family and friends.

I have to say one of my favourite things about this time of the year is the fashion! I adore bobble hats, I find that they are cute and add something more to an outfit. I purchased mine from Primark this year, so it’s not an expensive one yet it’s still really really nice and warm!! Boots are another one of my favourite Autumn fashion items, around this time of year I am always wearing these with jeans or a skirt and tights.

CANDLES! I am a little obsessed with my candles even when it’s not autumn time. In my room over the coming months will appear more autumn candles. It makes a room so much more cosy when you’ve got candles lit I find. It’s the same with fairy lights, I find they make a room so comfortable when you have fairy lights (perfect for the darker nights and mornings). Talking of comfort, I have to say one of my favourite things about the season is the darker nights where I can stay indoors and watching films. This is one of my absolutely favourite ideas for a date night or even a family night in.

What isn’t there not to love about this season! I cannot wait to pick up pumpkins and start thinking about my designs on them. I love pumpkin carving in October I just find something about it festive. On that note with the mention of pumpkins…HALLOWEEN is nearly upon us and let’s be honest we all know what Halloween is like – watch this space for Halloween Makeup and Costume!

Happy Autumn
